Original photos

Above are some of the original photos that we took to use on the front and back of our digipack.

We chose to use these pictures because it shows the main actor used in the video of the single 'American Dream' and this is also the person we use to symbolise the artist 'Jakatta'. We used the same setting that appears in the video to continue a theme used throughout the promotional package. I believe that the front picture is good because it gives you a good view of the artist himself and it also continues the setting that you see within the video for the song.

I also think that the picture we chose for the back of the digipack is good because it shows a sense of lost that we also wanted to portray in our video. I believe that it also works well because it shows the artist from behind and the link that is the back of him being placed on the back of the album. It also works well with the front of the album because he is sitting on the same tree trunk, but just sitting in a dirrent position and perspective. One thing i have noticed with the two photos is that the lighting is slightly different. This is one thing that i will have to change on photoshop so that the pictures have almost identical lighting so that they run smoothly together.
